When you're stuck in one of the most Asian places in California...no water...no friends nearby...with no cell signal..what do you do?
We go to DIM SUM.
Plates range as low as $1.58 at Atlantic Sea Food.
As you would expect, volume was turned up to max volume around noon. The plates kept coming and some of the favorites(chang fen[long fat rice noodles enveloped around meat], dou fu fa[tofu pieces suspended in candied ginger syrup] and osmanthus flowers suspended in aspic-like jello) briefly appeared to disappear.
But that was besides the point. The point of going to dim sum or to 喝茶 that Friday was to see the "sea monsters" live and up close in the fish tanks near the entrance.
Check this out:
Two King Crabs. They don't know what they're heading for.
Two king shrimps. They're the SIZE OF YOUR HEAD!!! Just kidding.
Two king lobsters. Spot the bunny.
